New Health & Public Safety Practices
Over the past year, Garver Feed Mill, in partnership with our small, local businesses, has become a place for our community to gather. You come here to enjoy great food, to learn new things, to wander over to Olbrich Gardens with friends. From bicyclists to farmers markets shoppers to art lovers, you come to enjoy history and architecture and celebrate special occasions and traditions.
Over the course of the extraordinary last few months, we have re-evaluated many aspects of our lives and made dramatic adjustments with the health and wellbeing of our community in mind. And now we face a new challenge: beginning the delicate process of reopening while balancing the safety and health of the employees and visitors at Garver. This process will continue to evolve because there is no precedent for where we are.
Social Distancing Reminders: Reminders and stanchions will depict where it is appropriate to stand in line. All tables have been placed 6 feet apart and are limited to 6 people max per a table.
Limited Access: Access inside the building is limited to customers of Garver businesses only. Please visit tenant’s websites for the latest information on opening schedule and hours. To assist with this, we ask that guests enter at single door north entrance (non-Olbrich side) of thebuilding.
Mezzanine Access: Until further notice, access to mezzanine will be limited to only customers located on the second floor including Twig & Olive Photography, Kosa Wellness Spa and Retreat, Perennial Yoga and Briar Loft Boutique Floral.
Protective Masks for all Team Members: All staff and vendors are required to wear a mask while in the building when near other employees or guests.
Frequent, Thorough Handwashing: All staff will be required to wash their hands a minimum of every 60 minutes, and for at least 20 seconds. Hand sanitation stations have been placed in several areas to be used by guests and staff.
Strict Food Safety Guidelines: All businesses serving food or beverages will follow and enforce strict handling and preparation safety guidelines
Strict Disinfectant Practices: The facility has been and will continue to be completely cleaned and sanitized before opening and throughout the day. Single use wrapped plasticware and condiments will be distributed by any business serving food.
Team Member Health Checks: Any staff entering the building will be required to complete a health questionnaire and temperature check. Employees who have a fever or other symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to work.
Delivery & Curbside Pickup: For your convenience Ian’s Pizza will continue to offer Delivery and Curbside Pickup and Ledger will be taking pre-orders online.
With reopening, please know that the safety of our visitors and staff members is the #1 priority! Therefore, like all good relationships, this is a two-way street:
Wear A Face Mask. Please wear a face mask while inside the building. It is not required, however it is recommended for when enjoying our outdoor spaces. If you do not have one, we have masks available for purchase at Garver Events, Ian’s Pizza and Ledger Coffee Roasters.
6 Feet Please! Tables will be placed 6 feet apart, and no more than 6 people MAXIMUM will be allowed per table. Please help us out…do NOT move tables, chairs or stools. While on premises, we ask that you respect social distancing and remain 6 feet apart from other patrons.
Stay Informed. Keep an eye out for prompts and other reminders on-site to provide you with directions and the latest information to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Keep Those Hands Clean. Soap and water can be found in all bathrooms. Hand sanitizing stations are located at various locations around the building.
Feeling unwell? Stay home! Please do not share your germs. THANK YOU.
Please know that we are monitoring the situation and learning from best practices from other communities. We will follow the guidance of the federal, state and local governments as we phase Garver Feed Mill back into business. We will carefully comply with all additional and new regulations. As the time passes, we will ease or eliminate some of these requirements as is deemed appropriate. In addition, we will continually update our standards and implement improvements.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we do everything possible to ensure you feel comfortable and safe while at Garver.
