Dip. Dip. Hurrah!

Join us game day around the fire, to learn hands-on how to create 2 different hot skillet dips with an appetizer side in an interactive tailgate class lead by Chef-owner Matt Heindl of the Hazelnut Café.

Matt will guide us through his favorite party recipes starting with potato croquette appetizers, a farmhouse bean dip & spinach cream cheese dip. We will finish off with using a fresh loaf of savory garlic monkey bread baked out on-site over the wood fire in the cast iron Dutch Oven, to taste our exquisite skillet dip creations.

This is not your standard burgers & brats game day tailgate. You will leave this class just before kickoff with a full belly and some pro tips on how to be a cast iron grill guru at your next parking lot tailgate.

Be prepared to get involved with making each dip and side in your own cast iron skillet on the grill together. Bring a lawn chair and an appetite! We are going to be rocking it out over the fire.

GETTING THERE

Garver Feed Mill project is on-going and parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED. We STRONGLY recommend utilizing rideshare services Lyft or Uber, Union or Green Cab services, Madison Metro transit, B Cycle, biking, or walking to Garver Feed Mill. Handicap accessible parking is available at Garver Feed Mill.

If you must drive to the event, you may drop guests at the Garver entrance off Garver Green and find additional parking at the public lot located at Olbrich Playing Fields on Atwood Avenue just south of Olbrich Botanical Gardens.
